This could be related to locked screen. During late installation the screen gets locked, when I unlocked that immediately, the OS is rebooted. When I keep the screen locked, the OS is not rebooted (reproduced both on Win XP SP3 and W2K3 R2).

Hi Jiri,

I couldn't replicate such situation with 3.2.4 or later versions.

According to the messages I understand that your flow (if that is not your flow then please let me know) is that you first install APT from the 3.2.4 CD and then you restart the VM (so you won't be logged in during the installation itself) and waiting while it installs the tools and restarts the VM after the install.

I tried that and it seems that installation goes fine. I even tried to log off after the RHEV-Apt is installed and started to check the CD for files - all seems to work fine.

Thanks in advance,
Lev Veyde.

I cannot reproduce with 3.2.4 and 3.2.8 isos. My flow was - install APT, confirm starting APT service and wait, watch and pray :-) Now after APT is installed, it scans the cdrom in a while and starts tools installation and then reboots (voila).

Feel free to close the BZ.
