The current version of perl-AnyEvent-HTTP is 1.46, which was released 2010-09-06.

The current stable version of AnyEvent::HTTP is 2.15 (released 2012-11-14). Simply replacing the version number in the spec file resulted in a working package for me, so this should not be much effort.

It’d be good to have this bumped because newer software relies on features introduced in AnyEvent::HTTP 1.5: http://kanla.zekjur.net needs the tcp_connect parameter.

This bug appears to have been reported against 'rawhide' during the Fedora 20 development cycle.
Changing version to '20'.
