Support for the ARM 64 bit CPU architecture (aarch64) was introduced in autoconf 2.69. condor appears to use an earlier version of autoconf, preventing its being built. This can be fixed in of three ways (In order of preference): 1. Work with upstream to migrate the package to autoconf 2.69. 2. Rerun autoconf or autoreconf in %prep or %build prior to running configure. 3. Apply the patch at http://ausil.fedorapeople.org/aarch64/condor/condor-aarch64.patch which updates config.guess and config.sub to recognize aarch64.
Tim, Matt, Any idea if there's upstream interest for CMake-ifying classads to better match the rest of the project? Seems to be a shame to maintaing patches for autoconf when we really don't use it all that much. Brian
The only auto-conf that is part of the build is the safefile library, everything else should be cmake.
Now I'm thoroughly confused - I removed the autoconf stuff from safefile in upstream ticket 3264 (https://htcondor-wiki.cs.wisc.edu/index.cgi/tktview?tn=3264). Any evidence this actually gets tickled master?
