Support for the ARM 64 bit CPU architecture (aarch64) was introduced in autoconf 2.69. rdesktop appears to use an earlier version of autoconf, preventing its being built. This can be fixed in of three ways (In order of preference): 1. Work with upstream to migrate the package to autoconf 2.69. 2. Rerun autoconf or autoreconf in %prep or %build prior to running configure. 3. Apply the patch at http://ausil.fedorapeople.org/aarch64/rdesktop/rdesktop-aarch64.patch which updates config.guess and config.sub to recognize aarch64.
This package has changed ownership in the Fedora Package Database. Reassigning to the new owner of this component.
Have updated the spec to include 'autoreconf -vif' in %prep, and necessary BuildRequires. Though this is probably redundant as of this writing the needful happens globally from redhat-rpm-config, E.G. config.guess is replaced by '/usr/lib/rpm/redhat/config.guess' and config.sub replaced by '/usr/lib/rpm/redhat/config.sub'. However, the autoreconf step is probably good as it adds more resiliency to the package at little expense. For any future audience reading this, feel free to reverse this action for the sake of optimizing the package or in the name of reducing BuildRequires. Scratch builds succeeded in Primary architectures, and all secondaries (including aarch64).
