Okay, when you do I would assume that the update will supercede the existing one listed in the updates. Is that correct? Also, it is odd that I can select varous combinations of update items and they give different error messages. It would seem to indicate that the real issue is not that of the duplicate you originally referenced, but rather a more basic issue that is an umbrella problem with all these individual ones under it. Well, you ran into (at least) 2 different issues: 1. kphotoalbum was forgotten in the update push (bug #924861). This was missed because kphotoalbum is an optional package most people do not have installed. The fix is already queued for stable. Sorry for that. 2. There was a file conflict between the new kde-runtime and the old kde-workspace. The reason this one was missed is simple: We are pushing those updates as groups for a reason, you're expected to update all or nothing, so e.g. "yum update PyQt4" is usually not tested. We're adding an explicit versioned Conflicts to fix that, but the easiest solution here is to just update everything (once the rebuilt kphotoalbum is in the stable updates). There's just no way we can test all the "various combinations of update items", there are exponentially many, sorry. If you see any other error messages than the 2 you quoted, those are probably again different issues (and you should report them – we only know about these 2). And yes, newer updates supersede older ones in the updates repository.
