Description Ken Martin 2000-02-15 02:40:39 UTC
This is probably more of a feature request than a bug report. My
apologies if this is not the appropriate place to report it.

I have a Belkin 3-button classic mouse using its PS/2 -> serial adapter
($8.95 at Egghead/Onsale). The mouse probe fails, forcing a text
installation. I'd really appreciate being able to tell it what kind of
mouse I've got, run the X test to see if I got it right, and then let me
do a GUI install.

Thanks!

It's a bug in the installer; it's been fixed.
