Description of problem:
I am not absolutely sure, if this is a problem in Qt, it may be it is some localization problem, but when you run e.g. dolphin with
LANG=sk_SK.utf8 dolphin
you may see that the disc sizes are displayed with some cryptic letters.

This is not the only case - the same happnes in qtconfig, designer, linquist... 
It looks like numbers withing text strings are correct, but pure numbers are somehow crippled.
