Description Branko Grubić 2013-04-15 10:23:46 UTC
Description of problem: Installing 'maxima' for example (yum install maxima) on f19 lists all packages as Dep-Install, later also shown in yum history info, but it should list 'maxima' as Install and other as dependencies, I can only reproduce this on f19, didn't tested install on f18, but only listed history and it is fine on f18 listed as install, and others as deps.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
yum-3.4.3-82.fc19.noarch

How reproducible:
depends on package?

Steps to Reproduce:
1. yum install maxima
2.
3.

Actual results:
Installs fine, but package requested for install is listed as dependency

Expected results:
Package requested for install not listed as dependency

Additional info:
Maybe this is not a big issue, and doesn't break anything, but it worked fine in f18, and now it gives weird output.

Comment 1 Zdeněk Pavlas 2013-04-15 12:19:39 UTC
Probably caused by cyclic dependencies, eg maxima <=> maxima-runtime-sbcl. But yes, the output is wrong, will try to find a simple fix.
