Description Branko Grubić 2013-04-19 08:09:43 UTC
Description of problem:
I'm not using this f19 machine a lot, so I'm not sure when it started happening, opening any file in emacs for X (gtk gui) and using scroll bars (mouse pointer - click and drag up/down) freezes emacs client, emacs process uses 90~100% cpu, and only killing the application helps. (no crashes, backtraces ...)

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
emacs-24.2-18.fc19.x86_64
gtk3-3.8.1-1.fc19.x86_64

How reproducible:
always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. open emacs with some text file (long enough to have scroll bars)
2. click on the scroll bar and drag up/down
3. locks up

Actual results:
emacs locks up

Expected results:
no lock ups

Additional info:
For testing I removed my ~/.emacs and ~/.emacs.d
