Description of problem: For Fedora 18 the pymongo package has changed its name to python-pymongo. I think it would be a good idea to start using this package as well for el6 so that there are less confusion. The current python-pymongo builds just fine on el6 after fixing the trivial bugs #903425 and #913533 I have been running my own rebuild of python-pymongo (updated to upstream 2.4) successfully on CentOS 6.4 for a while now. The python-pymongo package replaces the pymongo package just fine.
Missed a bit of markup... The bugs I'm referring to are bug 903425 and bug 913533 (now with links I hope)
This message is a reminder that EPEL 6 is nearing its end of life. Fedora will stop maintaining and issuing updates for EPEL 6 on 2020-11-30. EPEL el6 changed to end-of-life (EOL) status on 2020-11-30. EPEL el6 is no longer maintained, which means that it will not receive any further security or bug fix updates. As a result we are closing this bug. If you can reproduce this bug against a currently maintained version of EPEL please feel free to reopen this bug against that version.
