Description of problem: when using the "Document->Start Appendix Here", the counter for appendix sections is not being reset. Thus, when I have a document with, say, 4 numbered chapters, the appendix numbering displayed in LyX starts with an "E" instead of an "A", as it should be. Also, figures on the appendix are not being correctly numbered: LyX shows them just as "Figure 1", "Figure 2", etc., when the correct display would be "Figure A.1", "Figure A.2" and so on.

This just affects on-screen rendering; when "view PDF" (Ctrl-R) or "view DVI" (Ctrl-D) are used, the document is then rendered correctly, and appendix sections and figures are correctly numbered.

Steps to Reproduce:

1. Create a new LyX document with numbered sections, or open an existing document with numbered sections
2. Create one or two sections and  then start the appendix using the "Document->Start Appendix Here" command after the last paragraph of the last numbered section. The appendix sections will be numbered continuing the numbering of the main matter, but with letters. Thus, if there are sections 1 to 4, the appendix sections will start with the letter "E" instead of letter "A". Figures will not show the appendix section they belong to.
3. Use the "view PDF" (Ctrl-R) or "view DVI" (Ctrl-D) to see the processed LaTeX output. The appendix will appear correctly numbered, and the figure captions will also be numbered according to the appendix section they belong to.
  
Actual results: Appendix section letters start following the main matter numbering. Appendix sections will start with "B" even if there is just one numbered section in the text, and figure captions will not be numbered with the appendix section they belong to. Besides, this will not match the DVI or PDF output of LyX.


Expected results: Appendix section counter must be reset and appendix sections should start with the letter "A", with figure captions numbering following the appendix section letter they belong to and matching the DVI/PDF output results.


Additional info: this appears to have changed from LyX 2.0.5 onwards. I'm pretty sure that the Appendix had the correct section numbering in earlier releases of LyX.
