RHEL Engineering is moving the tracking of its product development work on RHEL 6 through RHEL 9 to Red Hat Jira (issues.redhat.com). If you're a Red Hat customer, please continue to file support cases via the Red Hat customer portal. If you're not, please head to the "RHEL project" in Red Hat Jira and file new tickets here. Individual Bugzilla bugs in the statuses "NEW", "ASSIGNED", and "POST" are being migrated throughout September 2023. Bugs of Red Hat partners with an assigned Engineering Partner Manager (EPM) are migrated in late September as per pre-agreed dates. Bugs against components "kernel", "kernel-rt", and "kpatch" are only migrated if still in "NEW" or "ASSIGNED". If you cannot log in to RH Jira, please consult article #7032570. That failing, please send an e-mail to the RH Jira admins at rh-issues@redhat.com to troubleshoot your issue as a user management inquiry. The email creates a ServiceNow ticket with Red Hat. Individual Bugzilla bugs that are migrated will be moved to status "CLOSED", resolution "MIGRATED", and set with "MigratedToJIRA" in "Keywords". The link to the successor Jira issue will be found under "Links", have a little "two-footprint" icon next to it, and direct you to the "RHEL project" in Red Hat Jira (issue links are of type "https://issues.redhat.com/browse/RHEL-XXXX", where "X" is a digit). This same link will be available in a blue banner at the top of the page informing you that that bug has been migrated.

Comment 1 RHEL Program Management 2014-03-22 06:52:39 UTC
This request was not resolved in time for the current release.
Red Hat invites you to ask your support representative to
propose this request, if still desired, for consideration in
the next release of Red Hat Enterprise Linux.

Comment 2 Ondrej Holy 2015-03-24 10:20:47 UTC
Baobab accepts only uri to be dropped in. What do you mean with analyze view and which columns you are trying to reorganize? When I try d-n-d on everything what I see, I can't reproduce hang...

Could you provide more detailed description if it is still actual?

Comment 4 Ondrej Holy 2015-04-10 08:37:09 UTC
Vladimir said it can be reproduced by multiple mouse clicks at GtkTreeView header columns (Folder, Size, Content, Modifies) until the analyze is finished. It seems like some kind of race between adding new rows and sorting them. Unfortunately I am still unable to reproduce the behavioral. So we need at least some relevant backtrace to fix this issue...

Comment 5 Vadim Rutkovsky 2015-05-12 13:18:43 UTC
Doesn't seem to happen anymore on baobab-3.14.1-1.el7.x86_64

Comment 6 Vladimir Benes 2015-05-19 12:37:34 UTC
this is still happening in 3.14 but I am unable to get backtrace as gdb somehow crashing (solving it now)

Comment 7 Ondrej Holy 2015-06-19 12:59:21 UTC
Taking back the devel_ack if this is still happening in 3.14, because we need the reproducer, or at least backtrace as I said before...

Comment 9 Vladimir Benes 2015-06-19 13:49:18 UTC
I cannot reproduce either, so it was very likely fixed by some later version of rebase.

Comment 12 Bohdan Milar 2015-09-09 09:54:43 UTC
Tested versions:
baobab-3.8.2-4.el7.x86_64
baobab-3.14.1-4.el7

Tested archs:
- x86_64
- ppc64le (3.14 only)
- aarch64 (3.14 only)

Results:
I tried to reorganize columns in analyse view and multiple mouse clicks at header columns (Folder, Size, Content, Modifies). No hangs noticed.
