I tried user switching with the Nouveau driver without having the described problems. I assume it is a problem of the proprietary Nvidia drivers then. I close this bug therefore.
I reported to upstream nvidia proprietary: http://nvidia-submit.custhelp.com/app/account/questions/detail/i_id/506289
I opened a bug on the RPM Fusion Bugzilla: https://bugzilla.rpmfusion.org/show_bug.cgi?id=2810
