Description Karel Volný 2013-04-30 11:53:25 UTC
Description of problem:
While running KDE, if a crash happens, clicking the icon in tray brings up gnome-abrt instead of abrt-gui.
I wouldn't expect the GNOME stuff to be called from within KDE if a non-GNOME variant (abrt-gui) is installed too.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
abrt-2.1.2-2.fc18.x86_64

How reproducible:
always

Comment 1 Jakub Filak 2013-05-15 11:09:11 UTC
gnome-abrt has nothing common with GNOME except the name prefix and the origin of UI design. gnome-abrt is an application written in python and based on pygobject3 (it is a pure Gtk3 application without any direct linkage to GNOME). gnome-abrt is a replacement of abrt-gui which was based on Gtk3 too.

We are sorry for the unfortunate name and will invent a better name.

Comment 2 Michal Toman 2013-08-09 11:06:48 UTC
abrt-gui is no longer available, so gnome-abrt is the only possibility even in KDE.
