Description Mikhail 2013-05-08 03:01:41 UTC
Description of problem:
SELinux is preventing /opt/google/chrome/chrome from 'write' accesses on the directory libreport-2013-05-08-08:18:10.133804-4241.

*****  Plugin catchall (100. confidence) suggests  ***************************

If you believe that chrome should be allowed write access on the libreport-2013-05-08-08:18:10.133804-4241 directory by default.
Then you should report this as a bug.
You can generate a local policy module to allow this access.
Do
allow this access for now by executing:
# grep chrome /var/log/audit/audit.log | audit2allow -M mypol
# semodule -i mypol.pp

Comment 1 Jiri Moskovcak 2013-05-10 07:13:51 UTC
Thank you for the report, but
/opt/google/chrome/chrome is definitely not supported by Fedora, so you'll have to create your own selinux policy to allow the requested action.

Comment 2 Daniel Walsh 2013-05-10 18:01:35 UTC
Well since we ship the policy we have to support the policy.

6fcda96bbeef99f9cdc9bdd57c2445dd6cc586a1 fixes this in git.

#============= chrome_sandbox_t ==============

#!!!! This avc is allowed in the current policy
allow chrome_sandbox_t user_tmp_t:dir write;
