This is an umbrella bug which covers various issues related with eclipse and eclipse-* components updates. The list of issues I have noticed so far: * it is necessary to call eclipse -clean because installed packages go unnoticed from time to time * updating dropins package causes "already installed" errors despite the qualifier had been changed. * after platform update the plugin reinstallation dialog appears randomly (more often doesn't) * removing ~/.eclipse always solves the problem.
Created attachment 852776 [details] already-installed.log I ran into this issue while updating eclipse-m2e-core on F20. I ran a yum update on eclipse-m2e-core and started eclipse afterwards. I believe the eclipse-m2e-core functionality was present and working as expected, but the attached errors were still generated. Could the reconciler have found some way to resolve the issue anyways ?
