Description of problem: The novnc web console fails to establish a connection (Error 1006) on the first try - user must either click on the link "click here to show only VNC" or manually reload the iframe. Reloading the whole page does not work. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): Folsom How reproducible: Every Steps to Reproduce: 1. launch VM 2. click on VM link 3. click on VNC tab and see failure 4. click on "click here to show only VNC" and connection is established 5. right-click in iframe and choose "Reload Frame" and connection is established Actual results: Fail! This no longer happens with RHOS 4.0 (openstack-nova-novncproxy-2013.2.1-1.el6ost.noarch). The possible (and likely) cause of this bug is https://bugs.launchpad.net/nova/+bug/1193031, which was fixed in Havana. See the upstream bug for more information of what caused it and how it was fixed.
According to that bug you posted, it was fixed on 2013-07-29 and should be in stable/Grizzly. OS1 Public is Grizzly... Can you verify that this patch did NOT make it into RHOS v3?
