Red Hat Bugzilla – Bug 962969
Drop dependency on xorg-x11-drv-ast
Last modified: 2013-05-16 01:22:49 EDT
This is already addressed, but filing this bug for bureaucratic reasons: we need a blocker bug to pull this change through the freeze.
The xorg-x11-drv-ast package has been blocked from F19, but the current stable xorg-x11-drivers package still depends on it. This breaks DVD/netinst composes:
yum.Errors.YumRPMCheckError: [u'ERROR with transaction check vs depsolve:', 'xorg-x11-drv-ast is needed by xorg-x11-drivers-7.7-4.fc19.x86_64']
So we need the updated xorg-x11-drivers:
to compose further Beta images. Setting acceptedblocker under the automatic blocker policy:
"Bugs which entirely prevent the composition of one or more of the release-blocking images required to be built for a currently-pending (pre-)release"
xorg-x11-drivers-7.7-5.fc19, xorg-x11-drv-modesetting-0.6.0-7.fc19 has been submitted as an update for Fedora 19.
xorg-x11-drivers-7.7-5.fc19, xorg-x11-drv-modesetting-0.6.0-7.fc19 has been pushed to the Fedora 19 stable repository. If problems still persist, please make note of it in this bug report.
