Allows Web developers to convert fonts from ttf to eot, allowing them to be embedded into a Web page in a format compatible with Internet Explorer.

I think this is currently not possible. Have a look here: http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Chromium

ttf2eot needs Chromium to be build and run.
