Created attachment 750041 [details] Patch that finalises dbus interface for keyboard backlight controls. Description of problem: January this year I added support for keyboard backlight control to mate-power-manager. Included was an incomplete interface for dbus support. Yes, I have setup my github etc to do this, but there is a build error atm in m-p-m that is preventing me from continuing (Even before I apply the patch)

If you build m-p-m-1.6.1 don't use ./autogen.sh anymore, simply use ./configure.
