Description Luis Busquets 2013-05-24 08:44:48 UTC
FutureFeature:

I have x264-libs installed in my system which, as far as I know, provides h264 video codec to ffmepg. however, this library is not accessible by ekiga which does not report h264 as an available codec in the menu of video codec. Could it be made that ekiga be aware that this library exists and to uses it?

Fedora mainline explicitly prohibits the use of h264 and other encumbered codecs and as a result we explicitly disable those codecs in ekiga. You would need to manually rebuild the opal package to enable it with the original source from upstream as we also remove the source code that supports h264
