Description Marek Goldmann 2013-05-31 10:15:40 UTC
Description of problem:

This package requires easymock2 at runtime. This causes classpath issues when trying to build some project that requires easymock3 and hamcrest at build time. In this case easymock2.jar is used, but Maven is expecting easymock3.jar.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

hamcrest-1.1-21

Comment 1 Mikolaj Izdebski 2013-05-31 10:50:26 UTC
I think that hamcrest correctly requires easymock2.

The problem is that easymock2 is not a compatibility package and that's why Maven is pising it up instead of easymock3. Reassigning to easymock2 package.

Fixed in easymock2-2.5.2-10

Comment 4 Mikolaj Izdebski 2013-06-13 10:28:59 UTC
This was fixed in Rawhide, but not in Fedora 19 as it could break other packages. Closing as RAWHIDE, please reopen if you need this fix in Fedora 19.
