Description Van 2003-06-14 16:19:10 UTC
Description of problem: I managed to make my Lucent modem work and dial into
ISP and everything (by package ltmodem-6.00c.tar.gz), but somehow I couldn't
load any webpage. I wonder if it has anything to do with wvdial or internal
settings of linux for webbrowser to work?

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

How reproducible:

Steps to Reproduce:
1. After successfully compiling, then loading modules and
wvidialconf /etc/wvdial.conf, a working modem is ready
2. Dial into ISP with phone, user, passwd edited from wvdial
3. It shows fine till connection is established with an IP address assgined

Actual results: After IP address is assigned and showing connected speed, it
stops. Then I attempt to open mozilla and try load some webpage, it shows
error message (Invalid address name...) which means there's no internet
connection at all.

Expected results:

Additional info: I wonder if should there be any interna settings in linux for
webbrowser to recognize the established internet connection ? Appreciate your
help!
