I've reproduced this on two different computers. Proposing as a final blocker because it affects basic functionality in one of default apps.
Please see the upstream bug for instructions on how to help debugging this. Thanks!
gnome-documents-3.8.3.1-1.fc19 has been submitted as an update for Fedora 19. https://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/gnome-documents-3.8.3.1-1.fc19
Package gnome-documents-3.8.3.1-1.fc19: * should fix your issue, * was pushed to the Fedora 19 testing repository, * should be available at your local mirror within two days. Update it with: # su -c 'yum update --enablerepo=updates-testing gnome-documents-3.8.3.1-1.fc19' as soon as you are able to. Please go to the following url: https://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2013-10909/gnome-documents-3.8.3.1-1.fc19 then log in and leave karma (feedback).
The app doesn't freeze any more, so the bug seems to be fixed, but the initial indexing is still somehow broken because it never stops. It seems to index certain files extremely slowly. I've been running the app for last two hours, there are just a few dozen documents and it's still indexing. I'm hesitating to give it a + karma.
Discussed at 2013-06-17 blocker review meeting: http://meetbot.fedoraproject.org/fedora-blocker-review/2013-06-17/f19final-blocker-review-6.2013-06-17-16.01.log.txt . Given our understanding of the impact (affects only those with docs in a Google Docs account and who have set up their Google account via gnome-online-accounts, and may only affect certain docs), we rejected this as a blocker, we think this is beyond 'basic functionality test'. But accepted as a freeze exception issue as it's a crasher in a stock app on the lives.
gnome-documents-3.8.3.1-1.fc19 has been pushed to the Fedora 19 stable repository. If problems still persist, please make note of it in this bug report.
