Red Hat Bugzilla – Bug 976863
luatex: zlib version mismatch
Last modified: 2013-11-10 03:01:31 EST
Description of problem:
Mock builds that pull in texlive-luatex-bin are failing (see bug 973617). The symptoms include ABRT reporting a crash in the texlive-luatex-bin package just before mock does something bad.
Following some clues from the ABRT report shows the problem:
# luatex -ini -jobname=luatex -progname=luatex luatex.ini
PANIC: unprotected error in call to Lua API (zlib library version does not match - header: 1.2.7, library: 1.2.8)
Aborted (core dumped)
Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
Steps to Reproduce:
1. luatex -ini -jobname=luatex -progname=luatex luatex.ini
The luatex binary aborts due to mismatched zlib.
Luatex should run normally.
