Description of problem: In repo/iso there are two python-dateutil packages: python-dateutil15-1.5-1.el6sam.noarch.rpm python-dateutil-1.5-4.el6sam.noarch.rpm but only python-dateutil15-1.5-1.el6sam.noarch.rpm is installed after sam+splice install. # rpm -qa | grep python-dateutil python-dateutil15-1.5-1.el6sam.noarch python-dateutil-1.4.1-6.el6.noarch The second (python-dateutil-1.4.1-6.el6.noarch) package was already installed from rhel6 channel. We should consider one of three options: 1) Use 1.4.1 from rhel6 repo 2) Switch to python-dateutil15 usage 3) (if we really need our own 1.5) Introduce package dependency to update the package during package install (something like Requires: python-dateutil >= 1.5)
Updated python-django-tastypie to requires 'python-dateutil >= 1.5' python-django-tastypie-0.9.14-6.el6sam.noarch After yum install splice # rpm -qa | grep python-dateutil python-dateutil-1.5-4.el6.noarch
SNAP0 contains these bug fixes. Moving to ON_QA.
# rpm -qa | grep python-dateutil python-dateutil-1.5-4.el6sam.noarch Moving bug to VERIFIED.
