Description of problem: First startup after a fedup to F19 SELinux is preventing /usr/sbin/mcelog from 'search' accesses on the directory /var/lib/sss. ***** Plugin catchall (100. confidence) suggests *************************** If you believe that mcelog should be allowed search access on the sss directory by default. Then you should report this as a bug. You can generate a local policy module to allow this access. Do allow this access for now by executing: # grep mcelog /var/log/audit/audit.log | audit2allow -M mypol # semodule -i mypol.pp Additional Information: Source Context system_u:system_r:mcelog_t:s0 Target Context system_u:object_r:sssd_var_lib_t:s0 Target Objects /var/lib/sss [ dir ] Source mcelog Source Path /usr/sbin/mcelog Port <Unknown> Host (removed) Source RPM Packages mcelog-1.0-0.7.6e4e2a00.fc19.x86_64 Target RPM Packages sssd-common-1.10.0-11.fc19.beta2.x86_64 Policy RPM selinux-policy-3.12.1-54.fc19.noarch Selinux Enabled True Policy Type targeted Enforcing Mode Enforcing Host Name (removed) Platform Linux (removed) 3.9.6-200.fc18.x86_64 #1 SMP Thu Jun 13 18:56:55 UTC 2013 x86_64 x86_64 Alert Count 1 First Seen 2013-06-28 19:51:54 CEST Last Seen 2013-06-28 19:51:54 CEST Local ID bd6d7714-d616-4d04-9857-6b2a9b2bda92 Raw Audit Messages type=AVC msg=audit(1372441914.980:18): avc: denied { search } for pid=635 comm="mcelog" name="sss" dev="dm-1" ino=662655 scontext=system_u:system_r:mcelog_t:s0 tcontext=system_u:object_r:sssd_var_lib_t:s0 tclass=dir type=SYSCALL msg=audit(1372441914.980:18): arch=x86_64 syscall=connect success=no exit=EACCES a0=4 a1=7fff365e9660 a2=6e a3=7fff365e9330 items=0 ppid=1 pid=635 auid=4294967295 uid=0 gid=0 euid=0 suid=0 fsuid=0 egid=0 sgid=0 fsgid=0 ses=4294967295 tty=(none) comm=mcelog exe=/usr/sbin/mcelog subj=system_u:system_r:mcelog_t:s0 key=(null) Hash: mcelog,mcelog_t,sssd_var_lib_t,dir,search Additional info: reporter: libreport-2.1.5 hashmarkername: setroubleshoot kernel: 3.9.6-200.fc18.x86_64 type: libreport
