Description of problem: fedup 18 -> 19 on encrypted system hangs during reboot Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): fedup-0.7.3-6.fc18.noarch How reproducible: 100% Steps to Reproduce: 1. fedup --network 19 2. 3. Actual results: Does *not* prompt for disk encryption passwd. Hangs at: Reached target Basic System. Expected results: Successful upgrade. Additional info: I tried the test case: <https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/QA:Testcase_upgrade_fedup_cli_previous_desktop_encrypted> on a virtual host, complete from a fresh install and upgrade of Fedora-18, and it successfully upgraded to Fedora-19! The difference seems to be that on the bad system, Fedora-18 prompts to the console for the passwd, where on the good system it prompted through some gui. The gui doesn't exist on Fedora-18 on the bad system, and after upgrading there is no prompting to the console for the passwd. What package provides the disk encryption password gui on Fedora-18?
Created attachment 768396 [details] sosreport.txt I'm hitting the same problem. Reaches "Basic System", but hangs and never prompts me for my LUKS passphrase. It eventually drops me to a dracut emergency shell. Logfile attached.
