Description Russell Doty 2013-07-03 18:47:41 UTC
Description of problem:

It isn't obvious where to do whole disk encryption in the new Anaconda installer.

Previously, when you selected a drive to install the OS to, there was a checkbox to encrypt the drive.

In the new Anaconda, you need to go into the custom formatting menu, select a partition, and select encrypt. You are presented with the options of encrypting /home, /root, swap, and/or /.

I selected /, and this seems to work for whole disk encryption.

Please add an encryption checkbox where you select the drive to install the OS on.

There's a checkbox when selecting disks to "Encrypt my data. I'll set a passphrase later."
