I tried it again with all extensions disabled and it died in the same way. I'm not sure if this sort of info is included with everything that is submitted by abrt, but the following errors were in dmesg:

[ 511.374183] gnome-shell[1524]: segfault at 0 ip b43b73a5 sp bffc1da0 error 4 in libdricore9.2.0-devel.so.1.0.0[b4200000+3c8000]
[ 552.450528] gnome-shell[2031]: segfault at 0 ip b396b3a5 sp bfeb5a70 error 4 in libdricore9.2.0-devel.so.1.0.0[b37b4000+3c8000]

Is there any other info I can provide to help diagnose/fix this issue?

I've updated using yum and now this no longer crashes, but I can't launch any programs. When I click on the icon to start a program, nothing happens.

Hi, This is a recent problem on Fedora 19, instead of Fedora 18.
1. step. The computer starts normally and grants access to the account. It finishes to launch desktop successfully.
2. step. Once I connect an VGA or S-Video display, computer starts to having some serious lag on graphical interface and a few seconds after Gnome says that something went wrong and needs to Log Out. And that's all.
After some research on internet, I found some Intel drivers which I installed and doesn't solve anything. Here is the page: “https://01.org/linuxgraphics/downloads/2013/intelr-linux-graphics-installer-version-1.0.2”
	I have a Toshiba Satellite. Model: A205-S4607

Same issue with Gateway N214 netbook. Startup, log in. Then plug Dell 1704 flat panel VGA monitor into it. Gnome Shell crashes. I can move the mouse from one window to the other, but no frames around windows. Screen then goes to a dark blue on both monitors -- all that is displayed is the mouse.

This is a fresh load of F19 1on 10/27 with updates as of 10/28/2013. Gnome Shell 3.8.4-2.

Abrt shows Gnome shell killed by signal 11.

Comment 18 Fedora End Of Life 2015-01-09 18:47:27 UTC
This message is a notice that Fedora 19 is now at end of life. Fedora
has stopped maintaining and issuing updates for Fedora 19. It is
Fedora's policy to close all bug reports from releases that are no
longer maintained. Approximately 4 (four) weeks from now this bug will
be closed as EOL if it remains open with a Fedora 'version' of '19'.

Package Maintainer: If you wish for this bug to remain open because you
plan to fix it in a currently maintained version, simply change the 'version'
to a later Fedora version.

Thank you for reporting this issue and we are sorry that we were not
able to fix it before Fedora 19 is end of life. If you would still like
to see this bug fixed and are able to reproduce it against a later version
of Fedora, you are encouraged change the 'version' to a later Fedora
version prior this bug is closed as described in the policy above.

Although we aim to fix as many bugs as possible during every release's
lifetime, sometimes those efforts are overtaken by events. Often a
more recent Fedora release includes newer upstream software that fixes
bugs or makes them obsolete.

Comment 19 Fedora End Of Life 2015-02-17 16:00:01 UTC
Fedora 19 changed to end-of-life (EOL) status on 2015-01-06. Fedora 19 is
no longer maintained, which means that it will not receive any further
security or bug fix updates. As a result we are closing this bug.

If you can reproduce this bug against a currently maintained version of
Fedora please feel free to reopen this bug against that version. If you
are unable to reopen this bug, please file a new report against the
current release. If you experience problems, please add a comment to this
bug.

Thank you for reporting this bug and we are sorry it could not be fixed.
