Hi, could you please test :

Package xorg-x11-server-1.14.2-4.fc19:
* should fix your issue,
* was pushed to the Fedora 19 testing repository,
* should be available at your local mirror within two days.
Update it with:
# su -c 'yum update --enablerepo=updates-testing xorg-x11-server-1.14.2-4.fc19'
as soon as you are able to.
Please go to the following url:
https://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2013-12886/xorg-x11-server-1.14.2-4.fc19
then log in and leave karma (feedback).

Comment 2 Sergio Basto 2013-07-13 10:23:11 UTC

About bug #976995:
i`m test the command
Xephyr -ac -br -noreset -screen 800x600 :2

with
xorg-x11-server-common-1.14.2-4.fc19.x86_64
xorg-x11-server-Xorg-1.14.2-4.fc19.x86_64
xorg-x11-server-Xephyr-1.14.(2-4 | 2-3 | 1-4).fc19

not crashes. Maybe it not duplicate bug.

Comment 5 Alphonse Steiner 2013-07-13 18:00:14 UTC
The sandbox fails because the option -resizeable has disappeared in Xephyr. A workaround is to remove it from /usr/share/sandbox/sandboxX.sh

About bug #976995: Xephyr crashes on my system, but not on a virtual machine, and I guess it does not crash on all systems. The patch provided fix it.

Yes, this workaround is fix the problem. Thanks.

Comment 7 Fl@sh 2013-07-13 18:37:03 UTC
/usr/share/sandbox/sandboxX.sh provided by policycoreutils-sandbox package.
It makes sense to redirect it to them .

so can we close this bug ?

Comment 10 Alphonse Steiner 2013-08-01 18:03:47 UTC
This bug was fixed like bug 984684 (the missing option is back in Xephyr). Comment #4 was only a comparison with bug #976995 (magically fixed). Therefore you can close it.

Comment 11 Sergio Basto 2013-08-01 18:14:38 UTC
OK I'm closing this bug as resolved, makes work easier for developers.
