When shotwell imports .mp4 video files from my camera, I just get a film reel as a thumbnail, instead of a still from the video. This doesn't appear to be because of a missing codec; all the relevant codecs should be installed — and if they weren't, then I should be seeing PackageKit trying to install them and/or some kind of error/warning message if it fails.

FWIW totem-video-thumbnailer works on these files. Duplicate of bug 891342?
Comparing comment 1 here with https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=891342#c1 there, I'd suggest not.

Per discussion in the upstream bug, this appears to be a gstreamer problem.

Fixed scratch build at http://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/taskinfo?taskID=5959460
