Doing a killall -SIGHUP gnome-panel, fixes the panel. But still no disk mounter. The applet worked a few days ago, but not anymore, don't know why. Stopped X, deleted .gnome .gnome2 .gconf .gconfd .metacity directories and started X again, but no luck. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): gnome-panel-2.2.0.1-9 , gnome-applets-2.2.0-8 How reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Add Disk mounter applet to panel. 2. Panel hangs. 3. killall -SIGHUP gnome-panel 4. Return to no. 1 Actual Results: The panel hangs. Does not respond to input. Expected Results: Well, a nice little button should appear. Additional info:
