Description Jaroslav Škarvada 2013-07-31 09:35:05 EDT
Description of problem:
Invalid license, LGPL

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

How reproducible:

Steps to Reproduce:
1. rpmlint python-pyudev

Actual results:
python-pyudev.noarch: W: invalid-license LGPL

Expected results:
No output regarding license.

Additional info:
Actually the code seems to be LGPLv2+. The upstream talks about LGPL in their docs, thus probably this should be also forwarded upstream.

Comment 2 Fedora Admin XMLRPC Client 2014-12-10 13:38:10 EST
This package has changed ownership in the Fedora Package Database. Reassigning to the new owner of this component.
Comment 3 David Shea 2014-12-10 14:06:35 EST
The upstream source already contains COPYING and boilerplate comments specifying that it can be distributed via the LGPL version 2.1 or newer, so I think all that needs to be done is change the string in the spec file.
