Description Pete Zaitcev 2013-08-04 15:51:43 UTC
Description of problem:

When input method is switched to Japanese, Latin characters are
input into terminal. This used to work in Fedora 18. All other
applications work as expected, including gvim.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

gnome-terminal-3.8.4-1.fc19.x86_64
vte3-0.34.6-1.fc19.x86_64

How reproducible:

Appears 100%

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Configure IBus with Anthy
2. Ctrl-Space, verify that icon on top shows 'あ'
3. Type into terminal window, find input method not active

Actual results:

Input methods do not work

Expected results:

Works as before

Additional info:

The known-working releases are very close:

gnome-terminal-3.6.1-2.fc18.x86_64
vte3-0.34.2-3.fc18.x86_64

Comment 1 Pete Zaitcev 2013-08-15 03:07:14 UTC
Reinstalled F19 and seems working now. Weird, but whatever. Closing.
