Description of problem: When input method is switched to Japanese, Latin characters are input into terminal. This used to work in Fedora 18. All other applications work as expected, including gvim. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): gnome-terminal-3.8.4-1.fc19.x86_64 vte3-0.34.6-1.fc19.x86_64 How reproducible: Appears 100% Steps to Reproduce: 1. Configure IBus with Anthy 2. Ctrl-Space, verify that icon on top shows 'あ' 3. Type into terminal window, find input method not active Actual results: Input methods do not work Expected results: Works as before Additional info: The known-working releases are very close: gnome-terminal-3.6.1-2.fc18.x86_64 vte3-0.34.2-3.fc18.x86_64
Reinstalled F19 and seems working now. Weird, but whatever. Closing.
