Description of problem: typed characters do not display on Windows 7 guest with spice and qxl driver. This only happens to me in the Microsoft Lync dialog window input area. I noticed a Red Hat advisory with this title which sounds similar. Have not been able to identify what change causes this. How reproducible: always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open Lync chat window 2. Type into input area 3. Actual results: Only a few characters display with the 1st message typed. Then subsequent typing does not clear what was previously typed nor display what is being typed Expected results: Characters to appear as they are typed and clear when hit Enter to send the chat message Additional info:
