Additional.. I was able to load the F19 vpnc, vpnc-scripts, and NetworkManager-vpnc and they work on RHEL 7.0. They need to either be added to RHEL Supplementary or EPEL... *** Bug 1126043 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** I am sorry about the delay, i should be able to get this done this week or next ! Thanks Huzaifa! https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=250462#c3 is the request to create epel-7 branch in fedora git, once that is done i can go ahead and commit/build If that is the best way to build and maintain the required VPNC and NetworkManager RPMS in EPEL for the long term. I don't know if there are plans to re-add this to RHEL. I assume not. If that is the case then building them into EPEL for epel-7 is the next best option. I think it makes sense to add it to epel-7. Removing it later if RHEL includes it could be easy :) I did a scratch build of the version used in fedora-21 currently and the build worked. Maybe updating to svn550 makes sense too. As a side note, I cannot test anymore. I was wondering if it makes sense to retire vpnc? It is dead upstream and there is no maintenance which is bad for such a VPN software. Retiring it makes sense too.
