| Does booting with 'linux allowcddma' help? Yes, that worked great! I typed 'linux allowcddma' and did a sucessful graphical install. Start install in graphical or text mode (either way same result). Some screens go by and then: "Running anaconda, the Fedora Core system installer-please wait... exec of anaconda failed accessing a corrupted shared libraryinstall exited abnormally" I confirmed MD5 of iso before buring and ran the media check (checked good). System is a an intel 875pz motherboard with a C-revision pentium 4- hyperthreading and ECC memory turned on. PATA crdom/dvd drives and hard drives. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): How reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Boot CD-1 of Fedora-Core 1. 2. Select graphical or text install. Actual Results: Anaconda crash. Expected Results: Anaconda start. Additional info: System is a an intel 875pz motherboard with a C-revision pentium 4- hyperthreading and ECC memory turned on. PATA crdom/dvd drives and hard drives.
