Description of problem:
The newest kernel abends in the initalization phase of the boot
processes on my IBM T30.  The last good kernel that I installed was .97

The system freeze and must be power reset.  This does not occur on my
Athlon based Desktop.

2.6.3-1.110

How reproducible:
Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.install 2.6.3-1.110 version of kernel
2. reboot
3. system abends in  what I believe is the initrd load.
