Sorry, I mixed up actual and expected results... On the Red Hat web page we indicate that the package exists on Red Hat Enterprise Linux Version 3 http://www.redhat.com/docs/manuals/enterprise/RHEL-3-Manual/ref-guide/ch-httpd.html Customers are starting to ask about this. *** Bug 123210 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** NEEDINFO_PM status has been obsoleted. Changing status to ASSIGNED and re-assigning ownership to riek. Thank you for the report and apologies for the slow response. This problem is resolved in the next release of Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL4). Red Hat does not currently plan to provide a resolution for this in a Red Hat Enterprise Linux update for currently deployed systems. With the goal of minimizing risk of change for deployed systems, and in response to customer and partner requirements, Red Hat takes a conservative approach when evaluating changes for inclusion in maintenance updates for currently deployed products. The primary objectives of update releases are to enable new hardware platform support and to resolve critical defects. |
