Cockpit http://cockpit-project.org/ can be used to perform administratives tasks on a host using a web-ui.

A similar goal is targeted with oVirt Node's TUI.

To reduce the amount of maintenance work, and to leverage existing projects, Node is moving to cockpit, adding the missing functionality through plugins.

Moving from 4.0 alpha to 4.0 beta since 4.0 alpha has been already released and bug is not ON_QA.

Some features have been ported.

The remaining ones will be covered by RFEs for the next minor releases.

Cockpit can be used in rhev-hypervisor7-ng-4.0-20160609.0.x86_64(cockpit-ovirt-dashboard-0.10.4-0.0.1.el7ev.noarch) to perform administratives tasks on a host using a web-ui.

So this issue is fixed. We will to use more detail bugs to track detail issues.

Since the problem described in this bug report should be
resolved in oVirt 4.0.1 released on July 19th 2016, it has been closed with a
resolution of CURRENT RELEASE.
