livecd-tools-13.4.8-1.el6 has been submitted as an update for Fedora EPEL 6.

Package livecd-tools-13.4.8-1.el6:
* should fix your issue,
* was pushed to the Fedora EPEL 6 testing repository,
* should be available at your local mirror within two days.
Update it with:

as soon as you are able to.

livecd-tools-13.4.8-1.el6 has been pushed to the Fedora EPEL 6 stable repository.  If problems still persist, please make note of it in this bug report.

It appears that this patch is actually causing problems on CentOS, see bug 1347953, can you elaborate as to the problem you were having, and would the fix in 1347953 also work for you?

Thank you for notice.
It's no problem to remove /etc/mtab in bug1347953.

In my system, livecd-tools creates base image of my system.
I copy livecd-tools root file system to my hdd and boot my system from copied root file system. (I don't use anaconda)
So I want to leave /etc/mtab as a symlink.
But I've understood it is not general use case.
