It appears that this patch is actually causing problems on CentOS, see bug 1347953, can you elaborate as to the problem you were having, and would the fix in 1347953 also work for you?
Thank you for notice. It's no problem to remove /etc/mtab in bug1347953. In my system, livecd-tools creates base image of my system. I copy livecd-tools root file system to my hdd and boot my system from copied root file system. (I don't use anaconda) So I want to leave /etc/mtab as a symlink. But I've understood it is not general use case.
