Previously, creating a new bond used the balance-rr mode by default and this could lead to connection issues. Now, active-backup mode is used by default for newly created bonds as active-backup mode does not increase the available bandwidth but is safe to use in any setup.

Test version: rhev-hypervisor7-7.2-20151025.0.el7ev ovirt-node-3.3.0-0.18.20151022git82dc52c.el7ev.noarch Test steps: 1. Clean install rhev-hypervisor7-7.2-20151025.0.el7ev 2. Create bond and check the default mode Test result: 1. After step2, it gives "mode=active-backup miimon=100" as the default options. So this issue is fixed in ovirt-node-3.3.0-0.18.20151022git82dc52c.el7ev.noarch. Change the status to verified. Since the problem described in this bug report should be resolved in a recent advisory, it has been closed with a resolution of ERRATA.
