Description of problem:
Trying to install FC2 on a Epia M motherboard and get the same
behavior described in bug 123863. I insert CD 1, and it boots from
the CD to the first Fedora Core 2 screen, which asks for "Enter" or
"linux text Enter". After hitting enter, the screen goes blank and
one line appears on the blank screen (uncompressing kernel, I think)
and then it reboots. It does this every time. I have tried linux
noprobe and noacpi. I have also turned acpi off in the bios.
