Observed on RHEL4 0811 ia64

The man page for 'vgcreate' states this:

...
 There  is also (as of Linux 2.4) a kernel limitation of 2TB per block
device.


It's my understanding that with 2.6 kernels, this limit is gone or at
least higher.  So the limiting factor would most likely be the 
filesystem, not the max size of a block device.  I suggest the man
page be updated to avoid confusion.  I'm not sure where else this
limit might be discussed.
