What's the exact webadmin rpm version? Also please install the userportal-debuginfo webadmin-portal-debuginfo packages, restart the engine and reproduce the issue again. This will make the ui.log messages de-obfuscated which will help troubleshoot the issue. Created attachment 1160544 [details]

I can not simulate this. Could you please provide the ovf file (only the XML, I don't ask for the disks :) ) of your VM? Also, could you please update to newer ovirt if it still happens? Created attachment 1162731 [details]

Updated to 3.6.6.2-1.el7.centos, nothing changed, same ui exception.
Can you please check if flagging the VM as highly available (or not) makes any difference? Nice catch :) Without HA working well, with HA not. In that case it is the same issue as https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1346095 - it is being taken care of and should land in 3.6.8. Created attachment 1155629 [details] ui.log Description of problem: Not possible to make template from snapshot because of UI Uncaught exception. I made a few test, and the result is interesting. Vms on local storage DC or vms from blank template on shared storage DC is not effected. The only setup where this exception is coming: shared iscsi storage DC where vms cloned from non blank templates. How reproducible: Steps to Reproduce: 1. create a vm from non black template on shared storage DC 2. create a snapshot 3. make template from that snapshot Actual results: UI Uncaught Exception Expected results: Additional info: I didn't test on userportal. Used browsers: Firefox 46.0.1, Chrome 50.0.2661.94
