Bug 1350099

Description of problem:
  First, some background: I have to admit am not sure if Wayland is the problem. I am using Wayland because Classic Gnome is runs too slow.
  Wayland is perfect for me except for the issue. Due to unknown reasons, it either: (a) logs off, or (2) logs off and goes to suspend mode.
  I suspected it was a power management issue and turned off all the auto-suspend features. The problem persisted.
  I have attached the result of `uname' and `lspci' in the additional information section.
  My apologies if this is not the correct forum to post the bug report. Kindly advise me if I should report to a different forum.

  Wayland, Gnome 3.20.2

How reproducible:
  The logoffs are random. It has happened when:
(i) I am compiling ffmpeg on the console and then switching to Firefox for further instructions.
(ii) scrolling through firefox pages using middle button of mouse
(iii) clicking between different windows on the desktop
(iv) uninstalling texlive package using console
(v) installing texlive package using console
