Description of problem:

Spin off from BZ https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1111784#c8

"That said, failover clustering on Windows requires the driver to show up as a SAS, iSCSI or FC driver.  Currently, vioscsi.sys doesn't do that.  So it's possible that Microsoft failover cluster will not work on virtio-scsi even if sg_persist working on Linux."

This is required for Microsoft Failover clusters to be able to use SCSI reservations.

This is blocking us from allowing SCSI reservation for windows, can you give a update on driver development?

I personally think the title of the bug is confusing.

And I believe we should change the bug title to be more clear, since the platform bug it refers to is closed errata.

I think it's actually clear enough, it's a Windows Guest Tools update related to the specific new feature that was added in the VirtIO-Win drivers.

What title you suggest for the bug?

From my understanding both this BZ and the one you mentioned were blocked by 1219841.
