Description of problem: Spin off from BZ https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1111784#c8 "That said, failover clustering on Windows requires the driver to show up as a SAS, iSCSI or FC driver. Currently, vioscsi.sys doesn't do that. So it's possible that Microsoft failover cluster will not work on virtio-scsi even if sg_persist working on Linux." This is required for Microsoft Failover clusters to be able to use SCSI reservations.
Paolo, As you were providing comments on this, can you check what else may I have missed on this bz? Thanks! Pablo
Moving to 3.6.0, 3.5.0 is already out.
Can you please provide a update on this one? It's blocking a customer escalated ticket.
This is blocking us from allowing SCSI reservation for windows, can you give a update on driver development?
Dropping Lev from assignee. Please open a WGT build request once the RFE is done on Virt side.
there is nothing else to do in oVirt other than ship newer virtio-scsi driver and documentation
ok, 4.0-7 WGT see #54 as this is just respin of the WGT. (MS clustering compatibility is handled in BZ1111784).
putting back, this is for 4.1, I tried 4.0-7
ok, wgt 4.1.3 although MCFC validation fails because of an issue how storage is handled on oVirt host, see https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1111784#c32
